The Bednar easement is located in northeastern Tioga County close to the border with New York state. Its 107 acres contain a small wetland, open fields, old fields reverting to forest, stone walls and many acres of forest.

The owners purchased the property as a place to implement an ethical relationship with the land. By protecting it in perpetuity they have helped assure that the land will be well cared for.
