This property was purchased by the Northcentral Pennsylvania Conservancy for the purpose of transferring it to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Bureau of Forestry. The property is located on Pine Creek near the village of Cammal, is surrounded on three sides by State Forest land, and has nearly 320 feet of frontage on Pine Creek. The property also adjoins Trout Run, a tributary of Pine Creek, and abuts the Miller Run Natural Area. This wooded property is located within the viewshed of State Route 414 south of Cammal.
The acquisition and transfer of this property to the Commonwealth assured protection of the watershed and public recreational access to Pine Creek. This property is now managed as part of the Tiadaghton State Forest.
