As part of its ongoing Marsh Creek Protection Project, the Northcentral Pennsylvania Conservancy purchased this property outside Wellsboro to protect critical wetlands on Marsh Creek. Because the property connects two pieces of land owned by the Pennsylvania Game Commission, the NPC transferred the property to the Game Commission in 1998, thus assuring the permanent protection of this critical area.

The Northcentral Pennsylvania Conservancy would like to thank the Horace B. Packer Foundation, the Sweet Foundation, the Tiadaghton Chapter of the National Audubon Society, and the Pennsylvania Game Commission for contributing to the funding of the purchase of this property.
