LOCAL CELEBRITIES WILL BE WAITING TABLES AT THE HERDIC HOUSE TO BENEFIT LAND CONSERVATION

WILLIAMSPORT, LYCOMING COUNTY – February 23, 2005 – Local celebrities are digging out their mixed drink guides, and practicing their tray balancing talents in preparation for the annual Celebrity Waiter Night at the Herdic House restaurant in Williamsport. During the evening of Friday, March 11, 2005, the regular Herdic House staff will be replaced by local community leaders. Those community leaders donate the tips they earn to the Northcentral Pennsylvania Conservancy.

This year Rick Gahr, Mike Wolfe, Dr. Bill Judson and Sam Judson will be doing duty behind the bar. Meanwhile in the dining room, Ed Alberts, John Best, Dr. Angie Haas, Gary Hutchinson, Rick Mason, Mark Shuman, Jerry Walls, and Mike Wolf will be serving guests. Jack Kramer will be there that evening assisting as needed and helping sell raffle tickets.

Blair Brothers Goldsmiths graciously donated the raffle prize this year. The 14 carat, yellow gold bracelet is set with 6mm, rhondolite, cabochon garnets. Tickets will be available for sale that evening to dinner guests as well as folks dropping in for a drink at the bar.

If you want to join the festivities, make your dinner reservations by calling the Herdic House at 570-322-0165.
