HERDIC HOUSE TO HOST EVENING TO BENEFIT LAND CONSERVATION

WILLIAMSPORT, LYCOMING COUNTY– Local celebrities are digging out mixed drink guides and practicing their tray balancing talents in preparation for the annual Celebrity Waiter Night at the Peter Herdic House (http://www.herdichouse.com/) restaurant in Williamsport.  During the evening of Friday, March 6, 2009, regular Herdic House staff will be replaced by local community leaders.  Those community leaders donate the tips they earn to the Northcentral Pennsylvania Conservancy.

This year Deb Caulkins, Gail Zimmerman, Amy Shotwell, and Jerry Allen will be covering behind the bar.  Meanwhile in the dining room Rick Mason, Joy Reynolds McCoy, Tom Raup, Greg Zeitler and Mark Shuman will be sharing their own personal charms while serving guests.

During the evening a jewelry raffle and silent auction will be held to benefit the Northcentral Pennsylvania Conservancy.  This year, Blair Brothers Goldsmiths (http://bbgoldsmiths.com/index.html) will be donating a special piece.  Dr. Bill and Sam Judson have donated a dinner for eight at their farm to be auctioned in the Silent Auction.

To join the festivities, make your dinner reservations by calling the Herdic House at 570-322-0165.  This evening is always fun and fast to fill up, so call today!
